Do you buy paper, plastic, or cardboard? No. We specialize solely in metal and automotive scrap. 

What are your hours? For scrap metal recycling, we are open to the public from 8:00AM-2:00PM (M-F). Commercial recycling costumers are permitted to unload from 8:00AM-3:30PM (M-F). Our Pull-a-Part is open from 8:00AM-3:00PM (M-F), with after hour or weekend appointments available if arranged ahead of time. 

What is your unloading process like? All noncommercial transactions take place in accordance with North Carolina General Statue. Which requires sellers to provide a valid, non-expired, United States issued ID. A picture will be taken of the seller, and the seller will be required to sign a form, certifying the materials to be obtained via lawful means. 

Are certain items prohibited to recycle by individuals? Yes. Per North Carolina General Statute, only commercial or governmental entities are allowed to dispose of; Central air conditioning units or coils, catalytic converters, aluminum kegs, railroad components, or any item marked property of a governmental body (I.e. manhole covers, traffic lights). 

Do you buy coper? Yes. We purchase both insulated coper wire, and bare coper. All transactions involving coper require a finger print from the seller, and a check to be written for the material. 

Do you buy catalytic converters?  We only purchase catalytic converters from licensed  business prescribed in North Carolina General Statute. We require proof of business before any transaction involving catalytic converters takes place.  

How do you price your material? With the expectations certain core automotive items, all scrap metal is weighed on one of our certified industrial scales. All costumers are welcome to view the weight of their materials as they are placed on the scale. All prices are given based on the current market.
